Local craft beer on the river
Chit Hole is the 2nd location of one of Bangkok’s oldest brewpubs, Chit Beer. It has a big space on the river, and about 18 taps of craft beer for you to enjoy with the branded beer mugs.
The spot is connected to the Royal River Hotel, through the back and down the stairs. The setting is especially nice at night when the nearby bridge is has the lights on.
Address: 439 Ratchawithi Rd, Bang Phlat, Bangkok 10700. (Google Maps)
Getting to the Chit Hole:
The riverfront bar is a bit outside the usual public BTS/MRT public transportation and so be aware that a bus can stuck in some pretty bad traffic going west on the Ratchawithi road. Taking a ferry up the river might be a better idea.
Easiest to go ahead and aim to enter the Royal River Hotel main entr – do NOT follow Google Map directions to walk along the river, as there is no path.
It’s good Chit
Chit hole makes for a great location to have an event, which includes the Far Yeast Brewing launch into Thailand.
There were a number of good beers in from Far Yeast/Off Trail/Kagua available, and plenty of seating for everyone coming to try the beers, and get in some good local beers from Chit.
