ChangWon Chicken & Beer; St. Louis

Features of ChangWon St. Louis:

  • Space for 10 taps of draft beer + beer fridge
  • Local Thai beers, plus many imported beers
  • Korean food menu – fried chicken, dumplings, ramen, kimchi, etc.
  • Cass beer for the Korean beer die-hards
  • BK Magazine write up by Craig Sauers.

ChangWon St. Louis is the 2nd location from ChangWon Express – focusing on Korean fried chicken and craft beer.

The fried chicken comes in a variety of sauces with varying levels of heat. Plenty of extra sauce comes with the meals, and as is necessary in a Korean restaurant, you will also be getting kimchi.

The majority of beers on offer on draft are imported beers through Smiling Mad Dog, so beers by Heart of Darkness from Vietnam, BrewDog from Scotland, and Maisel’s of Germany are usually on offer. Thai brewery Mahanakhon’s Sivilai was on tap, and Singha is also on offer.

There are some additional Thai craft beers in the fridge, including from Sandport (pictured), Mardi Craft and LadKraBang.
