Double Vision Brewing is based out of Wellington, New Zealand and they will be doing a beer tour in Thailand. They will be hitting up a few craft beer places in and around Bangkok, and have been working on some beer collaborations with The Brewing Project and 12 Plato Brewpub.
Friday August 2nd at HAZE.bkk
The first event will take place at HAZE.bkk where they will release the Yuzu lemon Cola Beer, a collaboration with the Brewing Project. HAZE is in Bangkok’s Chinatown, specializes in offering local Thai craft beers, and has plenty of room for beer lovers.
Saturday August 3rd at 12Plato Brewpub
Next up, the brewers will visit one of Bangkok’s brewpubs, 12Plato Brewing, in the Bang Na area. 12Plato brews its own beer, so they will be offering beers they collaborated with Double Vision to brew.
Sunday August 4th at Chit Beer
The last stop for Double Vision in Thailand’s south will be at Chit Beer – located on Ko Kret in Nonthaburi, which is not technically in Bangkok proper. Chit Beer is often considered the home of Thai craft beer, and has been opening a number of satellite locations under the name Chit Hole.
Friday August 9th in Chiang Mai at Namton’s House Bar
The final stop on the Double Vision tour is not in Bangkok, but in Chiang Mai at Namton’s House Bar, which could be one of the best craft beer bars in Thailand. Namton’s is celebrating their 10th anniversary and Double Vision will be there.
