Sip Thai by SongCraft

July 6th -12th, Sip Thai by SongCraft is happening in the Central Park mall, located in Silom next to Lumphini Park. It will be bringing together over 25 different brands for the thirsty and local beer curious folk to try a variety of beers & spirits.

Previously, SongCraft held their events at ‘Lost in SongWat‘ – a unique venue hidden among the old warehouses in Bangkok’s Chinatown. The first event was at the end of January, and then again at the end of March.

Thai Sip started quite nicely on July 6th, and we got to walk around as everyone was setting up. Some things that caught my eye was that Vana Brewing has an experimental sour ale on tap, and I was told that it is NOT sweet and has a nice bit of sour in the flavor. I also noticed that Brewave has its Earl Grey Pale Ale at the exhibition. As with a lot of events like this, there are going to be some very sweet drinks on offer. Not my taste, but others will probably like ’em.
– I only got to visit during my lunch break, so could not really ‘enjoy’ the beer just yet. But fortunately, the event will be going on for over a week, and I have a chance to go back and enjoy some drinks.
