Beer Events

Oct. 27th – Nov. 1st: SongCraft at CentralWorld is happening bringing together local Thai Craft beer and more to central Siam area of Bangkok. If the idea of drinking sweet drinks at a big mall is your idea of fun, this is the place for you.

Beer Geeks beware (editor’s note): I don’t think this event is very much like the one before. This time there are a lot of lagers and sweet drinks. The brands feel different, and maybe this event is more aimed at people that are not already familiar with the local beer scene.
– I went once, and probably won’t return.

Last Songraft: Sip Thai at Centrl Park Dusit

The last event held by SongCraft was a really fun event, and was held near Lumphini Park at the Central Park Mall. The Thai Craft Fest included:

Local Thai Craft Beer: Vast majority of Beers were brewed in Thailand. There was a wide variety of styles and flavors to try.
– there was also local Thai Spirits, but there was much more beer.

Local Music to enjoy: There was a live band at times, and also super fun was the Isan-style modern music that was played; combining traditional Thai/Isan instruments with a modern back beat made for great beer drinking vibes.

Fresh food to be had: There was pizza & pasta, catfish, noodles, and also fresh made burgers made to order right in front of you.
