Friday night after dinner, made for a perfect opportunity for an Isara visit in April. Couple of us enjoyed local craft beers, and chat with the owner, Ben. A big topic of conversation was the upcoming opening of BaanBangkok’s brewery, which shouldn’t be too far from IconSiam.
– Not sure if the cat was hired by the brewpub, but it made for a sweet welcoming host.
Friday night in April had 12 beers on tap, and little signs hanging from 11 them indicating they are local Thai beer.
FYI – the import was Lindeman’s Peach Lambic
- Afterwork
- BaanBangkok
- Hazy IPA
- Imperial Stout
- Full Moon
- H-Shot
- Isara’s own beer
- Mardi Craft

Isara had one of their own beers on tap, the Cream Ale, but a bit updated from from the previous version. This one was a bit sweeter, and more geared for the local Thai people’s tastes, according to Ben.
While there were customers inside enjoying the craft beer, there was also a group of drinkers outside drinking bottles of Singha. Despite the bar having a focus on the local craft, the owner was still happily putting the bottles of beer into coozies/bottle coolers to serve.
