A recent addition to the beer scene in Bangkok and located near ICONSIAM – Isara Pub and Brewery is a converted house that now serve beer and snacks. The brewery is not yet producing beer for sale, but there are plenty of beer options in the bar.
Features of Isara Pub (and soon to be brewery):
- 18 taps of local and imported beer
- Snacks available
- Brewing equipment on site, but not yet on offer
- Located behind the ICONSIAM area
The pub is based in an old house behind one of Bangkok’s largest mall buildings. Inside has a number of couches, tables, and chairs. The wooden floor has a bit of a slant, but is a very chill and nice place to hang.
There are a couple tables to sit outside next to the wall covered with beer art.
Beer selection at Isara Pub
The bar opened with 18 taps of beer.
Local beers included Baan Bangkok, Samata, Sandport, and Mr. Sato.
Imported beers include: Engkato, Heart of Darkness, & BrewDog.
Ben said beer from the brewpub equipment should be available next month.
Getting to Isara Pub
The pub is located in the neighborhood behind the ICS building across the street from ICONSIAM.
Walk behind the parking garage of the ICS building, and there is a fence running along the back of the property.
The pub has its name on the side of the wall that looks over the fence, and a break in the fence is on the left. Walk through the break, and take the first right onto a narrow street and the bar is on the right hand side.
