You make it to Bangkok and ask? “Where can we find Find Thai Craft beer in Bangkok?” Maybe that’s not every person, but the question is certainly a good one. To give a good answer overall, here are some suggestions for summer of 2025:
A great choice for local Thai craft beer is to check out the Bangkok’s brewpubs. Beer is brewed on-site, and you can get some food and entertainment while you are there.
NOTE: While brewpubs are GREAT places to get beer and food, and sometimes live music, many of them are not easy to get to through public transportation (except Bootleg Brothers).

FYI: stores can not deliver alcohol. And they can not sell it between 2pm and 5pm.
Price conscious consumers can look in supermarkets and grocery stores to find Thai craft beer. A wide variety of locally made craft beer is often available at the various stores.

Highlighted Craft Beer Bars
Best place to find local beers? probably the local bars that love to serve the beer. As Bangkok has quite a few areas, and quite a few places to get good local beer, here are some suggestions divided by area.
– but the first few to recommend, are stand-outs in their own area that don’t fit into other spaces.
- Fat Cow – Open during the day, and into the night; Fat Cow has has some great local Thai craft beers at good prices and a menu to keep you going. Lat Phrao area.
- Isara Pub & Brewery – Located behind IconSiam; many local and international beer in an old house west of the river.
- Warehouse By Jaang – a converted house in a neighborhood between two large parks. A unique Bangkok experience.
Beer bars by area:
Chinatown / Old Town
There are a lot of great places to check out in Chinatown/Old Town.
Fat Cow Yaowarat – Burgers, snacks, and beers, even a rooftop a few floors up.
Two Palms – 15 taps; lots of beer from Vietnam.
Haze Bar – Many local beers, especially Baan Bangkok
Tai Soon Bar – Many taps, and plenty of their own beer.
Yellow Cloud – Beers on tap in Talat Noi area, many taps and a beer fridge.
Sukhumvit
Sukhumvit has a lot of bars that really like to sell imported beers. Here are a few exceptions:
SUAD Bar – a little craft beer oasis near Nana Plaza.
Hair of the Dog, Phrom Phong – Voted top beer bar in Bangkok; some local beers to try.
Duke of Beerington – near Thong Lor BTS station.
Libertich – a beer bar lounge that has some local beers in the fridge.
Silom / Sathorn
Located just off the Silom BTS line, all by St. Louis BTS station.
Chit Hole Silom Soi 5 – Chit Hole brings together multiple local Thai craft breweries in a simple setting.
Om’s Living Room – multiple taps in a bar that is well-known for local beer lovers.
ChangWon BTS St. Louis – Korean fried Chicken + plenty of beer taps, mostly imported.
Ari area
North of central Bangkok, but there are some craft beer highlights worth making the trip to.
Eight Days a Week Homebar – not near a BTS station, but plenty of space in the bar and plenty of local beers on tap.
Dok Kaew House Bar – converted house with Northern Thai food and 10 taps + beer fridges.
