The Asia-wide beer conference and the Asia Beer Championships are coming back to Bangkok! A wide variety of people will come into Bangkok to talk all-things beer.
Brew Asia is the only annual Conference and Trade Fair dedicated to the region’s brewing community, bringing together brewery owners, brewers and distribut1ors from across Asia looking to understand the latest innovations in ingredients, processes and equipment.

Changes in Bangkok’s Beer Scene over 3 years
In 2022, the conference was held in Bangkok at Berkeley Hotel Pratunam, and the event was under their previous name: SEA Brew (South East Asia).
This was as the city/country/world was coming out of COVID restrictions.
One of the events to welcome international brewers and beer-business people was a FULL tap-takeover of CRAFT (Soi 23) by Vietnam’s Heart of Darkness Brewery.
Over the years, many local craft beer bars have opened (ex. SUAD bar) re-opened (ex. Taopiphop Bar Project), or expanded (ex Chit Holes) and there has been a flood of local homebrewers popping up and offering their beer at events (ex. Beer People Fest).
The SEA Brew/ Brew Asia event was also part of the Bangkok Beer Guide’s history, as it is one of the first events attended by the editor to meet, network, and try to figure how to move forward.
A question that was voiced often by the brewers coming in to experience Bangkok was:
“Where do we go to get some local beer?”
