Billy’s Smokehouse is located in the central area of Bangkok and offers delicious smoked barbeque and craft beer as an official Rogue embassy. Although a solid American style barbeque joint, the place is incredibly clean and a bit fancier and more upscale than you might expect of a normal smokehouse. There are a variety of meats and seafood available, and presented beautifully on their Facebook page.

As a Rogue Embassy, Dead Guy Maibock is on tap and fresh as well as having some additional hard alcohols by Rogue in Oregon. Also located below Phloen Chit location of Hair of the Dog.

Getting to Billy’s Smokehouse:

The bar is in central Bangkok, west of the Sukhumvit area.

Using public transportation, go to Phloen Chit BTS (skytrain) station. Take exit 4, do a U-turn, walk a couple blocks, and take a left into Mahatun Plaza. It will be down on your left hand among a number of other popular restaurants.

Billy’s does take reservations, which can be a good idea as they are pretty popular and can get rather busy in the evenings. There are tables outside and some long tables inside, which can be good for groups.

Additionally, directly above the smokehouse is Hair of the Dog (Phloen Chit branch). A little brother of the craft beer bar located in Phrom Phong. It similarly has craft beer on draft, a selection of bottles and cans, and a number of gins of offer.
