Few Events out there
The end of the month (July) arrived and there seemed to be a lack of beer events to post. Much like the previous weeks….
Did Bangkok drink all its beer?
Is this an economic indicator as to how many people are tightening their belts and not going out?
Fortunately, Beer People’s 5th Anniversary had been in the works, and it gave a great chance to get some good local Thai beers in a very nice outdoor setting along the river at the Montien Riverside Hotel (Montien on Google Maps).
A private party on the lawn
Beer People are known to have rather large events in the Chatuchak area, or quite often at Chang Chui Creative Market, both relatively north out of the city.
This event was held south of central Bangkok, in the lawn at the Montien Riverside Hotel. It was a “private party” in that tickets were very limited, and location was only announced 1 day prior.
The location was excellent! There was plenty of space to walk around, and there were a ton of tables and chairs for people to sit and chill out.
The weather was great, and the breeze coming off the river was delightful! Made for a great time!
More Beer People Events coming
Beer People continue to hold events that support the local beer scene in Bangkok and beyond. They have already announced that they look forward to holding another Halloween season event at Chang Chui, as per Facebook post.

Oct. 7-8; Beer Market 2 by ประชาชนเบียร์ (Beer People) was pretty great. Chang Chui Market had a fun layout and lots of large art pieces, and the food and drink were delicious!
