Bao Cafe has beer in Silom

Located on Silom road, Bao Cafe looks like most other bright colored cafes in Bangkok, but Bao Cafe has has beer in Silom . There are two taps behind the counter, and the fridge carries many different local beers by the Tawandang -Carabao group.

Editor’s Note: I had heard about the cafe from someone at the Roadhouse BBQ 20th anniversary party. Apparently it was a hidden gem for folk looking to get some fresh beer served in a chilled mug, at a cafe price.

Based on the ground floor of the Carabao Group building, the cafe has desserts and sweet snacks as well as coffee and sweet drink. It is next to a convenience store, so it is easy to get some salty snacks to enjoy with the cold beer.

On a Sunday afternoon, some exploring of the Silom area was needed and so it was good to check out the rumors of fresh beer available at Bao Cafe.
