Located on Silom road, Bao Cafe looks like most other bright colored cafes in Bangkok, but Bao Cafe has has beer in Silom. There are two taps behond the counter, and the fridge carries many different local beers by the Tawandang -Carabao group.
Editor’s Note: I had heard about the cafe from someone at the Roadhouse BBQ 20th anniversary party. Apparently it was a hidden gem for folk looking to get some fresh beer served in a chilled mug, at a cafe price.
Based on the ground floor of the Carabao Group building, the cafe has desserts and sweet snacks as well as coffee and sweet drink. It is next to a convenience store, so it is easy to get some salty snacks to enjoy with the cold beer.

On a Sunday afternoon, some exploring of the Silom area was needed and so it was good to check out the rumors of fresh beer available at Bao Cafe.
