Bangkok is getting a massive new kind of sportsbar – one that shows sports, has games, AND!! it is already advertising it will support and sell local Thai Craft beer! The Upper Deck to open in Sukhumvit in December 2025.
– The bar indicates that they will have 27 taps for local beers, ciders, and imported favorites.

The bar said in a message that Friday the 5th is planned to be a soft-opening. It is exciting that there will be a bar in central Sukhumvit that will be selling local beer. Though as a sportsbar, I am very curious how many lagers will be on the 27 taps….
A Sportsbar Complex
Location: on Soi 20 at Sukhumvit road. In between Asok and Phrom Phong BTS stations.
The bar has some BIG space and so has some BIG plans for the location – according to their website, they have 900 square meters, and they will be feature:
- 17+ screens
- golf simulators
- digital darts
- a rooftop
- The ultimate Sportsbar Bangkok experience
Local Beer connection at Upper Deck
Upper Deck started their own Facebook group called the Bangkok Beer Club, and currently looking for beer drinker’s feedback to help fill out their 27 taps.
Based off the various posts on their Facebook page, Upper Deck indicates they are already planning to have a number of good beers on offer:
- BaanBangkok
- ChitBeer
- Vana Brewing
- Erdinger (Germany)
Craft Beer in the Area
Central Bangkok can be a bit hard to find local craft beer. Some bars in the area that have craft beer options are included below:

- SUAD Bar – near Nana BTS, local and imported craft beers.
- Hair of the Dog (Phrom Phong) – mostly imported beers, but high quality.
- Brewski (across Sukhumvit road from Upper Deck) rooftop bar that mostly serves imported beer.
