It has been a bit of a story of trying to get ahold of the Samata x One Drop collaboration: After Party. The beer was released in April, but none was available in Bangkok until a few kegs were found and put on tap in November. Then a Christmas miracle happened, and the Samata After Party Refreshed in time for some holiday drinking.
Beer Notes: After Party is an ‘ice cream smoothie sour’ – it is a thicker style beer. It has notes of mango, sticky rice dessert, vanilla ice cream, and it gets its color from the butterfly pea flower. Looks like something a smurf would drink, or perhaps Luke before he left Tatooine.
After Party Refreshed
A fresh batch of After Party made it into Bangkok recently, but this time, it has been more widely available. Picture is taken from Hair of the Dog, but many other bars have been able to get ahold of the craft beer.

A fresh party is a beautiful thing
The previous After Party had spent a bit of time sitting in the kegs – about 6 months, or so? It was still a tasty beer, but it was also quite a bit thicker. Honestly, quite glad to see the Samata After Party refreshed from the previous batch.
