Om’s Living Room Christmas

What better way to finish Christmas night than in someone’s living room that has been converted into a bar selling local beer? Enjoying the local Bangkok craft beer scene means going to some of the smaller bars and enjoying beers that are harder to find, thus visiting Om’s Living Room for Christmas.

Om’s living Room can be a little hard to find if you have never been before, but its worth looking it up on Google Maps. Additionally, it can be hard to figure out if or when the bar is open…

Also, this is the epitome of a casual local bar. No food is served, but a little bowl of spicy snacks is given to go along with the beer.

“Local craft beer Bar with cozy atmosphere like you’re drinking in your friend’s living room and sometime you can meet a brewer who brew the beer that you drink, with very fair price”

For a local Thai perspective, the Facebook page Stray Cat Stain also hit up Om’s Living Room for Christmas and wrote up their experience on Merry CraftxChristmas Facebook post

The sliding doors to enter the bar also acts as the menu of what’s on tap. Each beer gets it’s own sheet of black paper and the name of the beer and brewery are illustrated and decorated.
– Once the beer comes off the tap, the paper moves off the door and onto a wall in a different place at the bar.

Majority of beers are local crafts – many of which have no doubt sipped on many beers in the living room, but there also have a few cheap options.
