Not always on the list of “must-visit-spots” in Bangkok, but the Silom and Sathon areas have some a ton of choices for food and drinks. The areas are connected to the city through the Silom line of the BTS Skytrain.

Location: In Sathon, walking south from St. Louis BTS station.

Location: In Silom; just north of Silom road.

A street with a bunch of different bars that are all within easy walking distance to each other, and north from St. Louis BTS station.

Transportation:

The main roads in the area are Silom road north going through Sala Daeng BTS station, and Sathon road which goes through St. Louis BTS. Stick to the BTS Silom Line to avoid the infamous traffic, especially on Sathon road at rush-hour.

The “Alcohol Ban” Hours in the afternoon are no longer in effect, and so eating and drinking together is easier than it previously was. But there are still “Booze Ban” days to look out for.
