Ministry of Ales launch + Nana Fest block party

Lucky 7’s IPA launch at the Fat Cow

Sept. 30th – Mahanakhon Brewery is launching an experimental IPA through their Ministry of Ales. This is part of a series of experimental beers made in smaller batches, so will not be as widely available as the standard Mahanakhon beers usually are. The beer is launching at a number of places, including the Fat Cow Yaowarat in Bangkok’s Chinatown, near the Wat Mangkon MRT station. There are to be prizes, give-aways, and as it is Fat Cow, there will be plenty of good eats on offer, too.

Bangkok’s Chinatown becomes a block party

The event is more focused on cocktails as is is partnered with the Bangkok Gin Fest and the Taipei Gin fest. However, for beer lovers, there are some highlights worth looking out for.

Still need more craft beer options in and around Chinatown?

Rabbit Hill: a short walk 600m walk from Soi Nana; a modern Chinese themed bar, that also imports Moonzen from Hong Kong. Closer to Wat Mangkok MRT.

Fat Cow – Yaowarat: 650m from Nana Fest; a local burger and sandwiches place that also has a heavy emphasis on local beers.

Haze Bar: A bit further, 850m, from Si Nana, but an excellent bar that really focuses on locally brewed Thai craft, including Baan Bangkok.
