Bangkok’s Chilli Fest 2026 was held in the garden of the up-scale Kimpton Maa-Lai hotel in central Bangkok, not far from Lumphini Park. There were a variety of restaurants and two different beer companies, Vana and Corona, that made up the Chilli Fest Food and Drink 2026.
Why this is a fun event: 1st off, there are great chances to eat spicy food. Also, so many restaurants in one place instead of saving up to go have a full meal at these very nice eating establishments.
A plethora of food styles
Top picks: The pork empanadas by Bar.Yard at Kimpton Maa-Lai. And to get a really good spice-heat, we went to Anju Korean Rooftop stall, and specifically asked them to make it hot, to “make it hurt” to really get the strong stuff. The staff pulled out a different bottle of gochujang sauce to flavor the chicken, not the same one they used for every other dish.

Things to take home
Took home a few bottles of Firepower Hot sauces, plus a bottle of That Daeng Sauce Ghost Chili Salt. Was also able to get a free tattoo that was on offer if you could get your name on the list in time. Tattoos were provided by Inspirational Tattoo.
There was also Mot Daeng hot sauces at the event, Mrs C’s Australian hot sauces, and Siamaya Chocolate from Chiang Mai.
Beer Choices at Chilli Fest
Local brewery, Vana Brewing, had two beers on offer: their Crispy Boy lager, and the Passionfruit wheat.
International Beer conglomerate Corona was on hand and had bottles of their beers, regular and Non-Alcholic, as well as a couple slushie machines offering ice-mixed beer cocktails.
