Chilli Fest 2025 was the third year running of the event in the garden of the upscale Kimpton Maa-Lai hotel. The event offered food by a wide variety of upscale restaurants; there were some local beers, and cocktails on offer; there were also free tattoos and hot sauce companies selling sauces and more.

Local beers on offer were by Vana (formerly known as Brewing Project) Crispy Boy Helles and Wila Wizen
Guinness was also on offer, being poured from inside the hotel lobby.
Cocktails, like Aperol Spritzers, were there for non-beer drinkers.
Foods in the garden
There were a wide variety of dishes on offer from upscale restaurants and chefs of Bangkok. Korean Fried Chicken, Spanish Chorizo, and spicy hummus are all pictured below. There were also American style biscuits and pimento cheese, and plenty of Szichuan (Sichuan?) dishes, fried pork, and noodles.

NOTE: Yes, there was also a “chilli eating contest,” but that was later in the day, and after the free tattoos were received from California Ink and after many beers were had and many foods tried (look above), it felt like it was time to spend some time in the air-conditioning.
