A little north of central Bangkok sits a traditional style house that serves as a great craft beer bar, and an excellent place for a tap-takeover by Baan Bangkok.
The chalkboard list of 10 Taps at Dok Kaew House, including the five from Baan Bangkok that made the takeover:
- #2 Over the Moon Hazy IPA
- #3 Chocolate Hazelnut Oreo & vanilla Imperial Stout
- #5 Baan Ka Pineapple Sour*
- #8 Super Delicious Hazy IPA
- #9 New Zealand Pilsner
A stand-out beer of the evening was the Baan Ka Pineapple sour ale, as it was obvious the pineapple that was used for the brew was obviously very fresh – as was explained by the brewer.
Delicious food made in house
Dok Kaew House bar also has great northern food. Just be careful of the spice fumes coming from the kitchen that can waft into the patio area. The patio is a great place to sit, but when the wind is right, the smells and spices from the kitchen will come through to tantalize and entice.
