From the first week of April, news and announcements of Thai brewery collaborations have been coming out regularly. As the laws change in Thailand, and the number of breweries look to skyrocket, these collaborations and displays of collaboration might indicate a very bright future for local craft beer.
After Party
Samata Brewing X One Drop Brewing (Australia)
April 14th, a video from One Drop Facebook post included their collaboration beer:
AFTER PARTY 
highlighting flavors of:
- Mango.
- Sticky rice.
- Butterfly pea.
- Vanilla ice cream.
The initial social media posts was directed to One Drop’s Australian market, and not clear if the beer would also be available in Bangkok. Once reposted, the brewer of Samata confirmed that the beer would be making it to Thailand. BKBG will happily share opportunities to find the beer, as we want some ourselves.

April 14th, both breweries shared the AI generated group photo on Yaksa Brewery’s Facebook post announcing an upcoming collaboration.
As Yaksa Brewing recently has a re-launch of the brand (May ’24), and Sriracha has been making some some solid beers, the BKBG looks forward to getting more details about getting some good local collaborative beer.

Fishbridge X Repentless Brewing X 12°Plato
Dopamine Detox:
DDH West Coast session IPA 5.5%
with Citra, Simcoe, and Krush hops.
April 8th, Fishbridge, Repentless, and 12°Plato shared the artwork for their collaborative brew, Dopamine Detox. Initial word is that the beer was on tap at 12°Plato Brewing and would be making their way to both locations of Hair of the Dog.
Brewave X, III
Teams of local brewers

April 6th, Brewave’s Facebook posted that they were organizing a chance for local teams to sign up, brew beer, and the public would be invited to come try the resulting collaboration beers at an event May 24th at Brewave’s Ratchada location.
– Brewave is one of Bangkok’s BrewPubs, and has multiple taproom locations (6?) around the city.
