Stout can mean different things for different people – for some, black gold, for others it is a heavy beer for the miners and dock workers. Either way, the beautiful dark liquid has its own special day, and we are here to celebrate International Stout Day 2025!

Stout Day at Chit Terminal

ChitBeer is known for making some tasty stout, and in honor of the celebrated day, with be hosting stouts from other breweries, too.
This will be at their Thursday and Friday pop-up bar under Phaya Thai BTS station, which we affectionately call Chit Hole Terminal.
Hair of the Dog - Phrom Phong
The Hair of the Dog at Phrom Phong makes for a great place to celebrate International Stout Day
#1 – There is almost always an imperial stout on tap. Served in half glasses so you don’t have to commit to the dark deep too hard…
#2 – Their massive beer fridge has a dedicated Stout fridge- witha wide selection, and it is kept a few degrees warmer. As stouts are supposed to be served a little warmer than normal beers, it is an excellent choice when on the hunt for stout.
Guinness Irish Stout
There is inly 1 stout for many folk, and it goes by the name of Guinness. International stout day is still about 4 months before St. Patrick’s Day, so plenty of time to get ready to “split the G” if you are so inclined.
