July 21st was a Tuesday, which made for a very nice and chill time for Belgo’s Belgian National Day. It was a great chance to enjoy belgian beer served in a chalice, and order some Belgian food like fries, bitterballen, Flammekueche, and a waffle. For those that are not wanting a full chalice of beer, there are also tasty cocktails, like the Thai style moscow mule.
– There was also a live band that came in to play from about 6:30pm.

Belgo’s Belgian Beer
Belgian beer and food at Belgo

- Bitterballen – Dark beer beef stew in a croquet form; served with Dijion mustard.
- Frites – Belgium is known for their fries, and Belgo offers them in nice paper cones, and comes with a sauce. We went with the andalouse sauce.
- Flammekueche – a flatbread covered with toppings, kinda like a pizza. It was delicious, and we took home the extra pieces we couldn’t finish.
- Waffle – A nice waffle served with ice cream and a little extra chocolate sauce on the side.
