Wednesday June 3rd was a holiday off work for many folk in Bangkok, and so it seemed like a great idea to do a little 5 Bar Sathorn Crawl, and to enjoy the international options in the area. We kept it easy, and just had 1 drink at each location, until we got to Om’s where we enjoyed multiple local Thai craft beers.

Ox Burger

Ox Burger also calls itself a Thursday brewery taproom. If you want to try both beers by Thursday, you can at Ox.
We started just south of St. Louis BTS station. Ox Burger has excellent burgers and also has some local beers by Thursday Brewery and Samata Brewing on tap and in the fridge. We doused our burgers with some Firepower hot sauce, enjoyed some Thursday beers, and then moved on to the next stop.

A Korean fried chicken and craft beer bar. Couple more options in the fridge including Cass, if you want a rough Korean beer experience.
Its a short walk from Ox, so we got a couple beers: Call Me Papa IPA and a Full Moon Pale Ale. Then we had the longest walk of the night between beers. We passed through St. Louis BTS as we moved from Sathorn 11 to Sathorn 12.

The 3rd stop of the crawl, the 1st stop on Sathorn 12 was a Belgian cafe that had a few Belgian beers on tap, including La Chouffe, and Timmermans.

The 4th bar was an Irish pub – Paddy Reilly’s. While it was very tempting to get some snacks in as well, it was just a round of the black stout.

The last bar for the crawl, the 5th, was Om’s Living Room. Technically not on Sathorn 12, but very close, and a great way to end the night with some local Thai craft beers. Last drinks of the night were by MLM, as we saw the guys delivering the kegs: Super fresh!
