Thai Beers to Copenhagen

As local Thai craft beer gains in popularity in Bangkok, it is also getting noticed around the world. So much so that two local breweries have been invited to bring Thai beers to Copenhagen to be part of Mikkeller Beer Celebration 2026

The ‘Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen’ is an annual event in Denmark’s capital that brings together a wide variety of beers from around the world. Local Bangkok breweries, Samata and Vana, have been invited for the big event next May.

Samata beers to Copenhagen

“We’re super excited and truly honored that Samata Brewing will be part of MBCC 2026 in Copenhagen!
One of the coolest and most iconic beer festivals on the planet — and we can’t wait to bring some Thai vibes to the party. 🇹🇭✨
Huge thanks to Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen for having us.
Copenhagen, see you in 2026, we’re coming in full flavor mode!

Samata is well-known for making some really interesting sour beers using a variety of local Thai ingredients. They can sometimes be hard to find around Bangkok, so if you are on the hunt to get some, stay in touch with them on their social media and check in with the local craft beer bottle-shops and bars.

“See you in Copenhagen!
🇹🇭🇩🇰👏🍻😘

Vana beers are pretty easy to find across Bangkok: they can be found in supermarkets, hotels, and a wide variety of bars across the city. It should be easy for them to bring some Thai Beers to Copenhagen.
