Paddy Reilly’s Sunday Roast

Bangkok has plenty of Irish bars to choose from, and for those that are looking for some comfort food to go along with a few pints of stout, its hard to look past the Paddy Reilly’s Sunday Roast. It is not a huge bar, but it is certainly popular.

The pub is located on the popular bar street Sathon 12, which runs north from BTS St Louis station (exit 1). Some of the other bars on the street include Kosmo, Kai, and Le Café des Stagiaires. At the bend in the road are a couple local Thai restaurants, too, and of course a big 7-11.

Paddy Reilly’s Sunday Roast

The pub has a big menu, so there are plenty of options to choose from, including a variety of pizzas. Families are often in the bar, so seems it can also accommodate children’s tastes, too.

From a visit in December, picture shows the slow roasted lamb shoulder.

  • BIG portions
  • Multiple types of potatoes
  • Savoury gravy
  • Mint sauce for the lamb
  • Yorkshire pudding

Beer at Paddy Reilly's

The beer selection at Paddy Reilly’s is primarily international favorites, including American icon, Sierra Nevada, as well as imported Spanish beers, and the Belgium favourite, Stella Artois.

For the stout lovers, the pub had 3 types of stout on tap:

  • Guinness Irish Stout
  • BrewDog’s Black Heart stout
  • Paddy Reilly’s own Irish stout

For the non-beer drinkers, cocktails and mixed drinks are on offer.

Sunday Free-Flow add-on

Paddy Reilly’s Sunday Roast is popular with the patrons, as is the Guinness. If looking to make a bit of a session out of your visit, there is the option of paying for a 2 hour free-flow.
– other beer options are available, too.
