Pro-Tips for Sukhumvit

💡 Pro-Tips for Drinking in Sukhumvit

There are a ton of bars selling cheap and cheerful beer in Sukhumvit. This is not an exhaustive list.

The “Alcohol Ban” hours in the afternoon are no longer in effect, but there are still “Booze Ban” days to look out for.  In this area, that is not as strictly enforced because it is designated a tourist area.
– Check out our Events Calendar of upcoming events and holidays to keep up-to-date.

Transportation:

The main road through Sukhumvit can be incredibly busy, especially in the evening. We recommend to use the BTS Skytrain to move around above the traffic. Couple notes:
1- the BTS line can also be very busy at high traffic times.
2 – As the Sukhumit area is so busy, there are limited places to cross the street, and there are even fences to prevent crossings outside designated areas.
