Two Palms is not open yet, but local beer lovers are already whispering to each other “Two Palms Taproom Opening Soon.” “The Temple for Thai Craft Beers,” as they are describing themselves on Facebook, has been active on social media since October 2024.
– A quick look while in the neighborhood in January shows the construction had not yet finished (see below).
(Planned) Features of Two Palms Taproom:
The taproom seems to be the brainchild of Avi, one of the duo behind Mahanakhon Beer. He is taking a strong stand against the mass-produced beer companies, and indicating that they will not be sold at Two Palms.
Additionally, As the logos and illustrations show, the taproom seems to be an extension of the ‘Two Palms Brewery’ and some beer styles have already been posted, including a Pale Ale and IPA.

Two Palms is in Bangkok’s Chinatown. Or north of Chinatown, depending on how you define the boundary. It is not far from Khao San road, as well.
For public transportation, the closest MTR station is Sam Yot, but it is 1.4km walk and will take about 20 minutes.
