An experimental brew that is on tap only, Vana Pridi Chocolate Stout can be found in a few places around Bangkok. Vana Brewing brewed the chocolate stout using Thai cacao from a Thailand-based company, Pridi CacaoFevier.
As it is an experimental brew by Vana, it is a limited offering. If interested in the beer, it is probably best to try to get it soon. For help finding the beer, Vana has posted a Google Maps link to help the beer-explorers actually get their hands on the stout.

Vana Pridi Chocolate Stout Collaboration
From Vana’s Facebook Post:
“A collaboration brew from Vana Brewing × PRIDI Cacaofevier. 6% ABV stout brewed with Thai cacao and lactose. Rich, smooth, and chocolate-forward, with a creamy, comforting finish. Available on draft only.
Get to know Pridi CacaoFevier[FB link]
PRIDI is a Thailand-based chocolate maker working directly with local cacao farmers in Chanthaburi, Phatthalung, Nan, and Chiang Rai. They craft small-batch chocolate from cacao grown in natural co-living farms alongside fruit trees – ensuring quality, sustainability, and fair value stays with the producers.”
Have you been able to try the chocolate stout? word from someone within the beer community indicated that it might be a bit sweet for his taste. This might be a reason for only releasing an experimental limited release. Check it out on a small scale, get some feedback, and then decide how to go bigger. At least that could be the reasoning….
